One of the many reviews:
“Love, love, love this place and have been coming for many years with the kids now aged 5 and 8. So much has changed over the years but it only gets better, car parking and entry is free. once inside there is a large outdoor play area and a small farm area to visit for free, Payable activities include mini golf, go karts, diggers, indoor sand and water pit and soft play area, these are not overly priced unless you want to do everything in one visit.
Now lets talk about the Ice cream, the queue can be massive sometimes and at least a 20 minutes wait, even though there is always plenty of staff BUT all that doesn’t matter once you’ve tried the ice cream, that’s if you can decide which flavour you want as there is lots to choose from. Am sure me and my family will continue to come here for many more years and i highly recommend this place for a wonderful family day out.” Read more from the original site.
The family run firm has a fascinating story. Due to a cut in subsidies many year back, the dairy farm was forced to diversify their business. Over the years, the farm branched out into an ice cream based theme park.
After a £5m redevelopment in 2014, the family sold off its dairy herd to concentrate fully on the ice cream theme park. The Cheshire Ice Cream Farm’s 10,000 sq ft ice cream parlor is listed in the Guinness World Records as the largest ice cream parlor in the world.
