On July 21, it was reported by South China Morining Post, that Justin Bieber was banned from performing in China due to his previous bad behaviors.
In a statement released by The Bureau of Culture, Beijing on 18th July, it stated that Bieber, 23 is a gifted singer but controversial, and is banned from performing in China for “bad behavior”.
Apart from Bieber’s long string of controversial antics and scandals, his actions during his last performance in China must have contributed towards the decision.
Bieber performed in China in October 2013, but was widely ridiculed after photos surfaced of bodyguards carrying the pop star up the Great Wall, and of him skateboarding on Beijing’s streets. Read more at South China Morning Post.
Currently Bieber is on his Purpose World Tour to promote his album, Purpose. The worldwide tour started on March 9, 2016 in Seattle with tours to cities in Canada, United States, South America, Central America, Australia, New Zealand and England.
Justin Bieber was due to perform in the next three months in Asian countries such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia, and also in US.
Unfortunately on July 24, it was reported that Justin Bieber cancels the rest of the Purpose World Tour for ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
His representatives didn’t offer details about the cancellation in a statement released Monday but said the singer “loves his fans and hates to disappoint them.”
“However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates,” the statement read. Read more here
